Company Director/Chartered Financial Planner
Andrew founded Financial Planning Solutions in 2008. He began his financial services career with the Prudential at the age of 20 and then became an Independent Financial Adviser in 1996 with National IFA R J Temple. In 2001, he joined Positive Solutions and worked with them for seven years before starting his own company. Andrew gained his Chartered qualification with the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2011. He also became a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments in 2015. Financial Planning Solutions Ltd became a Chartered firm in 2012. Specialising in Retirement Planning, he also focuses on Investment Management, Pension Planning and Inheritance Tax Planning. He is a keen advocate of cashflow modelling and ensuring that clients can have a fulfilling retirement. This often involves coaching clients about their money and how they can achieve their ideal lifestyle without running out of money ‘whatever happens’. He is married to Paula with three children and a Labrador. He enjoys the great outdoors especially, cycling, walking, skiing and family activities.

Paula’s previous employment was with the Civil Service in the DHSS and Dept of Work and Pensions for twelve years. She has been involved with Financial Planning Solutions since the beginning, in 2008, and is responsible for the company accounts, client fees and charges. With three great children and a dog, she can usually be found stood on the sidelines watching football or rugby every Saturday. She also loves to take walks in the country, go to the theatre and concerts and, of course, get away on holiday when she can.
James currently works part time for Financial Planning Solutions and is also at university studying towards a degree in Business & Management. His role is to help look after the marketing side of the company, keeping clients updated with newsletters and blogs. He is also responsible for the company’s social media presence. Away from the office, James enjoys mountain biking and rugby.
Part Time Administrator
Gemma gained a Certificate in Financial Administration in 2011 and has recently begun studying for a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. She has worked at Financial Planning Solutions for nearly three years, having previously worked at another IFA firm for seven years before it closed down, when she then moved to FPS. Gemma is responsible for all the systems and processes, any projects, the back office and compliance audit. Outside work, she loves nothing more than settling down with a good book or going to the theatre to see a musical or catching a film. She also enjoys getting out walking in the countryside.
Para-Planner and Pension Transfer Specialist
Tina joined the company in September 2016 and is responsible for paraplanning, training and is also our in-house Pension Transfer Specialist. Tina has worked in financial services since 2004 with banks and IFA's in adviser and support roles. Tina has the following qualifications:

- Certificated in Financial Planning and Lifetime Mortgage Activities.
